Applying to Miracle Diapers
UPDATE: We will be taking applications starting August 1st and will continue to take applications until the end of the month. The next month will be a rest period and the link for applications will be open every even month thereafter and closed during odd months to ensure that we do not fall behind are able to promptly fill the needs of our applicants.

There are many reasons people choose to use cloth diapers, but some may let the initial cost of buying diapers deter them. Although cloth diapers cost much less in the long run, it may be easier for some families to pay the weekly expense of disposables than to pay a one time lump sum for cloth diapers that will last years. How ironic is it that you can save thousands of dollars by using cloth diapers, but can't afford the initial investment? Because the cost of quality cloth diapers can be impossible for struggling families, Miracle Diapers is here to help!
Policies
On your application you will be asked to include your average weekly or monthly pay, and list any government assistance you are receiving. We do not have minimum or maximum income requirements, but we do ask for this information to verify that you are in need and that it coincides with what you have stated on your application.
Upon approval, an MD representative will email you a loan agreement. Before receiving diapering supplies you are required to sign this agreement and mail it with the required documents to Miracle Diapers Headquarters. We also ask that you pay a shipping fee, payable via personal check, paypal or money order.
Once we receive the required documents and payment, our goal is to ship the same week. However, please keep in mind that we ship up to 20-30 packages a week, and that is only a small part of our responsibilities as Miracle Diapers volunteers. In addition, we are all wives and mothers, and some of us even work outside the home. Everything we do for Miracle Diapers is out of love. We work very hard and the only payment we receive is the satisfaction of helping hundreds of families in need. We do the best we can to make sure that everyone is taken care of in a timely manner, but sometimes life happens. Your patience is much appreciated!
We also ask that you not accept loans from Miracle Diapers if you are
currently using cloth diapers from another charity.

NEW POLICIES:
Applicants should expect to pay $20 per package of diapers. This includes the cost of a prepaid label, which will be sent by email or regular mail (whichever is more convenient) for the applicant to return diapers when ready for an exchange.
Applicants will need to fill out an extension form every six months or when a size exchange is needed.
Applicants should expect deliveries and package returns to be made through Fedex, which is cheaper than USPS and includes insurance.
Applicants must then provide a physical address for delivery. If one cannot be provided, it is suggested that the applicant arrange for the package to be delivered to a trusted friend, neighbor, or family member.
